" Snow White " is a 19th century German fairy tale that is currently widely known throughout the Western world. The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection of Fairy Tales Grimms . It is titled in German: Sneewittchen (in modern orthography Schneewittchen ) and numbered as Tale 53. The name Sneewittchen is German Low and the first Version it is translated with SchneeweiÃÆ'Ÿchen . The Grimms completed their final revision of the story in 1854.
The tale has elements such as magic mirrors, poisonous apples, glass coffins, and the evil queen character and the Seven Dwarves. The seven dwarves were first named individually in the Broadway 1912 drama Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and then given different names in the 1937 Disney movie Walt Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarves . At the beginning of the story, a queen sat sewing in an open window during the winter snowfall when she stabbed her finger with her needle, causing three drops of red blood dripping into the newly falling white snow on the black window sill. Then she said to herself, "How I wish that I had a daughter who had snow-white skin, blood-red lips, and ebony-black hair." Some time later, the queen gave birth to a baby girl she named Snow White, but the queen died soon afterwards.
A year later, Snow White's father, the king, took a new wife, who is very beautiful, but a woman who is evil and vain. The new queen has a magic mirror, which she asks every morning, "The magic mirror in my hand, who is the fairest in this country?" The mirror always replied: "My queen, you are the most beautiful in this country." Queen always happy with it, because mirror mirror never lie. But when Snow White grows up, she becomes prettier every day and even prettier than the queen, and when the queen asks for her mirror, she tells him that Snow White is the most beautiful.
This gives the queen a big surprise. She became jealous, and since then, her heart turned against Snow White, whose queen hates more and more over time. Finally, the angry queen ordered the hunter to bring Snow White into the deepest forest to kill. As proof that Snow White is dead, the queen demands that she return with her lungs and heart. Hunters take Snow White into the forest. After raising his knife, he finds himself unable to kill him when Snow White finds out about his stepmother's plan, crying begging, "Keep me, this ridicule of justice, I'll run to the forest, never to go home again!" At this level, the hunters reluctantly agree and let Snow White go, bringing the queen of hearts of wild animals instead.
After wandering in the forest, Snow White found a small hut belonging to a group of seven dwarves. Since nobody was home, he ate some snacks, drank their wine, and then tested all the beds. Finally, the last bed was comfortable enough for her and she fell asleep. When the dwarves return home, they soon become aware that someone is slipping quietly, because everything in their house is in chaos. During their loud discussions about who sneaks in, they find Snow-Sleeping Princess. He wakes up and explains to them what is happening, and the dwarfs feel sorry for him and let him stay with them instead of housekeeping. They warned him to be careful when alone at home and not let anyone in while they were in the mountains.
Meanwhile, the queen asks for her mirror once more: "The magic mirror in my hand, who is the most beautiful in this country?" The mirror replied: "My queen, you are the fairest here so real, but the Snow White in the mountains of the Seven Dwarves is a thousand times more beautiful than you". The queen is horrified to learn that the hunter has betrayed her and that Snow White is still alive. Plotting to kill Snow White himself, the queen disguised himself as an old merchant. The queen appears in the dwarf's cottage and offers a white and colorful corset and convinces Snow White to take the most beautiful rope as a present. Then the queen tied her so tightly that Snow White fainted, causing the queen to let her die. But the dwarf returned just in time, and Snow White revived when the dwarf loosened the rope.
The queen then consulted again with her magic mirror, and the mirror revealed Snow White's survival. Dress the queen as a seller of a comb and convince Snow White to take a beautiful comb as a gift. She brushed Snow Princess's hair with a poisoned comb and she fainted again. He was again revived by the dwarves as they removed the comb from his hair. When the mirror again shows that Snow White is still alive, the queen makes the third and final attempt at Snow White by posing as a farmer's wife, and offers her poisonous apple. The girl was initially hesitant to accept it, so the queen cut the apple in half, eating half white (harmless) and giving a semi-toxic red to Snow White. The girl was eager to bite and fall into a state of suspended animation, causing the Queen to win. This time, the dwarves can not revive Snow White. Assuming that he's dead, they put him in a glass coffin.
After a while, a prince was on a hunting trip when he tripped over a coffin containing Snow White. Seven dwarves succumbed to his plea to let him have a Snow White. As he lifted the coffin to take him away to his proper resting place, pieces of poisoned apples fell from between his lips and Snow White woke up saying "Where am I?" Fascinated by her beauty, the Prince instantly falls in love with her, and then declares her love for her; soon the wedding is planned. Snow White and the prince invite everyone to come to their wedding, including stepmother of Snow White.
Meanwhile, the queen, still believing that Snow White is dead, again asks for her fairest miraculous mirror in the land. The mirror says: "You, woman, the most beautiful art here, I dwell, but much more beautiful is the newly created queen", which infuriated the queen. Not knowing that the Prince's bride is her stepson, the queen arrives at the wedding and sees that the bride is Snow White, which she thinks is dead. He is frozen by anger and fear, but when the Queen will start the chaos, the prince orders him to wear a pair of hot red shoes and dance in it until he dies because of the attempted murder of Snow White, so that the marriage will continue peacefully.

Inspiration
Many scholars have theorized about the possible origins of fairy tales. In 1994, a German historian named Eckhard Sander published Schneewittchen: MÃÆ'¤rchen oder Wahrheit? (Snow White: Fairy or Truth?), Claimed that she had found an account that might have inspired the story that first appeared in Fairy Tales Grimm. According to Sander, the Snow White character is based on the life of Margaretha von Waldeck, a German countess born of Philip IV in 1533. At the age of 16, Margarete was forced by her stepmother, Katharina from Hatzfeld, to move to Brussels. There, Margaret fell in love with a prince who would later become Philip II of Spain. Her father and stepmother did not approve of the relationship because of 'political unease'. Margarete died mysteriously at the age of 21, seems to have been poisoned. Historical records show the King of Spain, who opposed romance, may have sent Spanish agents to kill Margarete.
Student Graham Anderson compares the Snow White story to the Roman legend Chione, recorded in Ovid's Metamorphoses . The name Chione means "Snow" in Greek and, in her story, she is portrayed as the most beautiful woman in the land, so beautiful that the gods of Apollo and Mercury fall in love with her. Mercury made him sleep with a touch of caduceus and raped him in his sleep. Then Apollo, disguised as an elderly grandmother, approaches her and rapes her again. This affection made Chione openly boast that she was prettier than Diana Diana herself, causing Diana to shoot her through her tongue with an arrow.
Karlheinz Bartels, a pharmacist and scholar from Lohr am Main, a city in northwestern Bavaria, found evidence that Snow White was Mary Sophia Margarethe Catharina, Baroness von und zu Erthal, who was born in Lohr on June 25, 1725. Her father, Philipp Christoph von und zu Erthal, is the local representative of Prince Elektor Mainz. After the death of Maria Sophia's mother in 1738, her father married again in 1743. Stepmother, Claudia Elisabeth von Reichenstein, dominated and used her new position for the benefit of her children from her first marriage. The miraculous mirror known as the "Speaking Mirror", known as always telling the truth, can still be seen today at the Spessart Museum in Lohr Castle, where Maria Sophia's stepmother lives. Variations
The main study of Snow White's traditional variant was Ernst BÃÆ'¶klen's, Schneewittchenstudien in 1910, which (re) printed fifty variants of Snow White, and a study by Steven Swann Jones.
In their first edition, Brothers Grimm published the version they first collected, in which the villain was Snow White's jealous mother. In a version sent to another folklorist before the first edition, besides, he did not order a waiter to take him to the forest, but took him there himself to collect flowers and leave him; in the first edition, this assignment was transferred to a maid. It is believed that the change to stepmother in subsequent editions is to bring down stories for children.
One Snow White version is the American animated film 1937 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Walt Disney. Snow White Snow variations give the names of dwarves and include the Snow White singing. Instead of the lungs and liver, as written in the original, the hunter is asked by the queen to restore the heart of Snow White. While the heart is mentioned, it's never shown in the box. Snow White is much more mature (about 14). And he was found by a dwarf after cleaning the house, not ruining it. Furthermore, in the Disney movie the evil queen only tries once to kill Snow White (by poisoned apple) and fails (this may save time). He then died by falling to the cliff and was destroyed by a boulder, after the dwarves chased him through the forest. In the original language, the queen is forced to dance to death.
In Snow White (1987), produced by Tales Film Cannon, The Evil Queen, after being informed for the last time that Snow White is alive and the fairest, is consumed with anger and throws an object in the mirror causing it to crack. As he travels to the wedding, the Evil Queen starts his quick ages as the mirror continues to crack. By the time he reaches marriage and bursts, he is an old woman and humiliated by the crowd. She leaves and, together with a mirror in her castle, breaks into a pile of dust while Snow White and Prince marry.
In the 2012 adaptation of Snow White and the Huntsman, directed by Rupert Sanders, Snow White becomes a fighter for the overthrow of Evil Queen named Ravenna, and hunter Eric is featured as his mentor and possibly love of flowers.
The movie Mirror Mirror has a queen (Julia Roberts) who is still alive, but she is really haggard when she attends Snow White's wedding (Lily Collins).
The 2007 Disney movie Enchanted (film) features a character named Giselle (Amy Adams) loosely based on Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (dragon fight), and Cinderella (lost shoes at a dance party) ). Stepmother of Prince Narissa (Susan Sarandon) poisoned Giselle while dancing. Giselle recovers and then fights with Narissa, who has turned into a dragon. Giselle's chipmunk friend, Pip (Jeff Bennett) sent Narissa down to his death during the fight. Giselle then falls in love with Morgan's six-year-old father and decides to stay with them, while Morgan's former married stepdaughter moves to Giselle's hometown and marries the prince.
In 2013, a version of Mattel's fairy tale school, Ever After High , Snow White has a daughter, Apple White (Kingdom), who is at loggerheads with the more Raven Queen (daughter of Evil Queen and Rebel) like the Rebels to follow their heart, write in their own way. Raven is the Rebel leader, a group of students who want to choose the end of their own storybook, who decides to be good after being horrified by his mother's cruelty and witnessing a dark future for himself during Legacy Day. This causes Raven to refuse to follow his evil destiny and declare himself well, much to Apple's disappointment. The Royals believe that their story must be followed, not to end in disaster. It's up to Raven and his friends to convince Apple and the Royals that their destiny will be all right.
Many versions later eliminated the Queen's cannibalism, eating what she believed to be the lungs and hearts of Snow White. This may be a reference to ancient Slavic mythology that includes witch tales that feed on the human heart.
Descent (movie 2015) Evie's character is a cheerful but flirty daughter of Evil Queen.

In 2013, the US Patent and Trademark Office issued a trademark to Disney Enterprises, Inc. for the name "Snow White" which includes all films and live broadcasts, television, radio, stage, computer, internet, news, and entertainment photography, excluding fiction and nonfiction literature.
