Etimologi
The earliest use of words was in 1900 and 1904.
The source of the term is uncertain, but the Encyclopedia of Swearing states the most plausible and most probable origins of this term are those proposed by Leo Rosten, according to whom:
The word kike was born on Ellis Island when there were Jewish immigrants who were also illiterate (or could not use the letters of the Latin alphabet). When asked to sign admission forms with customary "X", Jewish immigrants will refuse, because they relate an X to the cross of Christianity. Instead, they draw a circle as a signature on the entry form. The Yiddish word for "circle" is kikel ( KY -k? L ), and for "small circle", kikeleh ( KY -k? -l? ). Soon the immigration inspectors called on anyone who signed a contract with "O" in place of "X" a kikel or kikeleh or kikee or, finally and briefly, kike.
According to the Oxford English Dictionary , this may be a change from the common - ki or - ky suffix in the personal name of the Jews in eastern Europe who immigrated to the United States at the beginning of the 20th century.
A variation or extension of this theory published in Our Crowd , by Stephen Birmingham, postulates that the term "kike" was created by US Jews who assimilated from Germany to identify Eastern Europe and Russia. Jewish: "Since many of the names of [Jewish] Russia end in 'ki', they are called 'kikes' - German Jewish contributions to American language. The names then began to be co-opted by non-Jews for being famous in their use in society, humiliating insults are common. "
Arranging the mysterious origin of this term, in 1864 in the English word ikey or ikey was used as a derogatory term for the Jews, derived from the name "Isaac", a common Jewish name.

Usage
Some sources say that the first use was on Ellis Island as a reference to Jews, others that it was used primarily by Jewish-Americans to lay Jewish immigrants.
In a travel report from 1937 to the Jewish-German publication Der Morgen, Joachim Prinz, writing about the situation of Jewish immigrants in the US, said the word was used by Jews to humiliate others (East) Jews:
It is not encouraging to see how confused the ideas, how little immigrants have learned how happy they will partly emerge from the Jewish fate, and how their ÃÆ'überheblich often. This is sad, daay they are very unpopular in some circles, and one wonders about the idiocy of those who East Jews (which they also gestÃÆ'ützt!) verÃÆ'ächtlich ,, Kikes "call [...]
